Oxygen Supply During Fermentation, Homogenization Prior to Granulation, and Final Product Blending: Three Distinct, Irre
In a fertilizer production line, different pieces of equipment handle entirely distinct processes; conflating their performance metrics is a common error when selecting machinery. The double-screw compost turner, the organic fertilizer twin-shaft mixer, and the NPK blending fertilizer production line each operate at a specific stage—oxygen supply during fermentation, homogenization before granulation, and final product blending—addressing unique challenges that no other stage can resolve. The double-screw compost turner addresses "oxygen starvation" during the fermentation phase. In a static compost pile, oxygen can only penetrate the surface layer, leaving material at the bottom in an anaerobic state; this prevents the temperature from rising and stalls the decomposition process. The dual-screw design utilizes two counter-rotating shafts to lift and disperse material from the bottom. With a turning depth of 1.8 to 2.5 meters, it offers over 50% greater oxygenation efficiency than single-screw models, shortening the fermentation cycle from 20–25 days to 12–15 days. Its function is not to shape granules, but to ensure aerobic microorganisms receive sufficient oxygen to convert organic matter into stable humus.
