BB Fertilizer Mixer’s Easily Worn Parts

BB fertilizer mixers, due to the long-term mixing of granular fertilizers, experience high friction and impact from the materials, making many internal parts prone to wear. Regular inspection and replacement are essential. First and foremost, the mixing blades and arms are the most susceptible to wear. These are core components that directly contact the materials. Long-term high-speed mixing of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium granules and compound fertilizer raw materials causes continuous friction and erosion, easily leading to thinning, deformation, gaps, and bending. Wear directly reduces mixing uniformity and increases the operating resistance of the fertilizer production machine. Secondly, the liners and inner wall plates are also prone to wear. The wear-resistant liners installed inside the mixer cylinder withstand long-term impact and sliding friction from materials. The edges and corners wear the fastest. Loss or breakage can damage the cylinder shell and easily accumulate material, creating mixing dead zones. Thirdly, the inlet and outlet screw blades are also susceptible to wear. The inlet and outlet conveyor screws continuously push hard granular fertilizer. Severe wear on the blade edges slows down the conveying, causes uneven feeding, and easily leads to material blockage problems. Meanwhile, the bearings and seals at both ends wear out quickly, and fertilizer dust easily penetrates the bearings, causing lubrication failure, rotational jamming, and accelerated bearing corrosion. The dust seals and packing seals at the shaft ends are susceptible to dust corrosion over time, leading to aging and powder leakage, which not only pollutes the environment but also accelerates bearing damage. Furthermore, the transmission gears, chains, and gears inside the reducer, operating under constant load, experience tooth surface wear and increased clearance due to vibration and load, causing abnormal noises and unstable speed. In addition, the machine body fastening bolts, adjusting rods, and discharge gate baffles will also wear and loosen due to long-term vibration and material erosion. Regular inspection of the wear of vulnerable parts is necessary during daily production; timely replacement and repair are crucial, along with proper dust prevention and lubrication. This will reduce equipment failures, ensure uniform mixing of BB fertilizer ingredients, and extend the overall service life of the equipment.
