Large Wheel Compost Turning: From Raw Material Pre-treatment to 10,000-ton Continuous Fermentation Production Line Integration

Standard Procedures for Raw Material Pre-treatment: Although large wheel compost turning machines possess powerful turning capabilities, raw material pre-treatment is still indispensable. Fresh manure such as chicken and pig manure requires solid-liquid separation to reduce the moisture content from over 80% to below 70%. Corn stalks, wheat straw, and other straws need to be crushed to 10-20 cm in length using a shredder; excessive length will affect the uniformity of turning, while insufficient length will reduce the permeability of the pile. Industrial waste such as distiller’s grains and medicinal residues require manual removal of impurities such as metal and plastic. During the batching process, the carbon-to-nitrogen ratio needs to be adjusted to between 25 and 30:1; a too-high carbon-to-nitrogen ratio slows down fermentation temperature rise, while a too-low ratio results in significant ammonia loss.
