What NPK cooler outlet temperature is needed to prevent clumping?

There is no fixed outlet temperature for NPK coolers; it depends on the hygroscopicity of the fertilizer type and storage conditions. For DAP, MAP, and regular NPK granules, the cooled outlet temperature is generally required to be no higher than approximately 71°C. However, for hygroscopic formulations containing potassium chloride and high-nitrogen urea-based products, the outlet temperature is recommended to be below 45°C. A more general safe storage temperature is to keep the temperature difference between the finished product and the ambient temperature within 10-20°C. Exceeding the temperature limit will cause residual heat to drive moisture migration within the packaging bag; once crystal bridges form, clumping is inevitable.
