Key Control Points in the Production Process of a Chain Compost Turning Machine

The chain compost turning machine is a core piece of equipment for organic fertilizer fermentation. The key control points in its production and operation are the uniformity of turning, material thickness, travel speed, chain tension, and safety and stability, which directly determine fermentation efficiency and equipment lifespan. Controlling material thickness and uniformity is fundamental. The material in the fermentation tank should be maintained at a reasonable thickness of 0.8–1.5 meters, spread evenly, avoiding localized overloading or underloading that would affect output. Before feeding, remove large hard objects to prevent chain jamming and damage to the chain plates, ensuring consistent turning depth and sufficient contact between material and air to improve the fermentation temperature rise rate. Matching the travel and turning speeds is crucial. Adjust the travel speed and chain plate speed according to the material moisture content and fermentation stage, operating at low speed and high torque to avoid uneven turning and material spillage due to excessive speed, or insufficient oxygen supply due to excessive slowness. During high-temperature periods, appropriately increase the turning frequency to promote ventilation and heat dissipation, shortening the fermentation cycle. The chain and transmission system require real-time monitoring. Maintain proper chain tension to prevent loosening, skipping, misalignment, and wear; regularly lubricate bearings and sprockets to reduce the probability of failure. Check the tightness of chain plate bolts to prevent loosening and ensure continuous operation. The operational safety and on-site management of fertilizer produciton machine are crucial. Control motor current and temperature to avoid overloading; install limit switches and emergency stop protection to prevent overtravel, jamming, and equipment damage. Keep the tank clean, free of accumulated material and debris to extend equipment lifespan. Successful control of these factors ensures more sufficient oxygen supply during fermentation, faster temperature rise, more uniform maturation, lower equipment failure rate, and stable operation, significantly improving the overall efficiency and finished product quality of the bio-organic fertilizer produciton line.
